Natasha watched with an amused expression as Clint practically inhaled his breakfast, and while she didn’t tuck into hers quite so ravenously, she didn’t dawdle either. She didn’t have to keep up pretenses with Clint, there was no need to pretend to be ladylike and take small bites, which would just be silly anyhow considering her state of dress for breakfast, a fact she noted that Clint was trying very hard no to focus on.
“It might be better to get everything before we go,” she said, finishing off her last bite with a satisfied sigh. Setting the tray aside she drew her knee up to her chest and wrapped one arm around them while still cradling the remains of her coffee in the other. “It will pass the time, and then we won’t have to worry about it when we get there.”
