Natasha knew what he wanted; he wanted to make her fall apart all around him, to hear it and feel it. She also knew that this wasn’t just a means to and end for him, a duty he felt he had to do in the sense of fairness or to get more out of her later. Clint genuinely enjoyed every second of this, and when he put his own needs on hold for hers he did it completely willingly. That knowledge made it easier to give him everything she had and everything she was.
