It was actually a little of both. It had certainly been an amazing encounter, and now that she wasn’t pressed against him she felt cold all over again, a quick reminder that they were both soaked to the bone.
Giving Clint a half-hearted glare at his teasing, Natasha was tempted to batt his hands away and finish up herself, but she took note of the look in his eyes, the bulge in his pants, and knew he wasn’t doing himself any favours either. If he wanted to push himself to his limits right here in the hallway then why should she stop him? When he finished she was grinning at him, but he barely gave her a look as he immediately headed for the stairs.
She kept up with him easily, though he was just shy of flat out running up each flight, and when they reached the door she bit her lip to hold back a laugh as he frantically searched his pockets for his keys. It didn’t help to hold back her wide smile, though, especially when she caught his muttered words. “Why the hurry?” Natasha asked, putting on an innocent expression.
When he finally produced the keys and let her in, she stepped in slowly and glanced around. The fact that he still cared what she might think of him if she found his place untidy was endearing. “As long as the bathtub is clean who cares about the rest?” She threw a look back over her shoulder at him as she slipped off her jacket and tossed it his way.
