Natasha raised her eyebrows and gave him a bemused look for his pun. Shaking her head she took the matchbook and headed back into the living room to light the candles. The instantly gave the room a more homey feel and she found herself hoping that the power did go out so it didn’t have the somewhat false atmosphere of simply turning out the lights themselves.
Leaving the spent match to sit on the edge of one of the candle holders, she straightened back to her feet when Clint rejoined her with cocktail shaker and glasses in hand. “I will keep that in mind, and maybe I should mix the next round,” she said, leaning up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. If she did the mixing then he would end up with four drinks in one the way she poured. “I’m going to go raid your closet. This isn’t exactly the warmest thing to lounge around in,” she said against his ear before heading to the bedroom.
