The way he presented himself to her, tilting his head to give her better access to his neck, elicited a possessive little growl. She didn’t mean to leave a mark, not with hopefully a few more beach days to look forward too before it got too cold, but it was hard to resist with him offering and clearly enjoying what she was doing to him. She tried not to linger in one place for too long, but when she reached his collar bone it was less a nip she gave him as a full bite, though not hard enough to break the skin.

Her body was awash with pleasure, ebbing and flowing as they moved; their bodies molded together, slick with oil and perspiration. She could feel that familiar sensation starting to build but she didn’t want this to end, just wanted to stay in this moment for a little longer, for forever. Clint’s whispered words made her hold him tighter as she trailed kisses from one side of his neck to the other to lavish the same attention there.

She didn’t say it back this time, but she didn’t need to. He knew she loved him, with all of her heart and every fibre of her being. She loved how he treated her, how he touched her; how he trusted her and how he loved her. She loved these moments when there were no walls between them, when they were naked in more ways than one, naked and vulnerable and entirely trusting. He was everything she had never let herself want, everything she didn’t think she deserved, and she would never let him go.

“Slow...” she murmured, speaking more to herself than to him. Trying to bring her body back under control, she leaned back enough to meet his eyes, her fingers lifting to travel gently through his hair before interlacing behind his neck. In that moment she thought she could drown in his eyes and be perfectly happy to do so.
