Taking another sip of water, she bent over a little more than necessary to replace the bottle on the sand before giving Clint a look. “I think I have a bigger chance of getting grabbed by something right here,” she said, giving him a little poke with her toe before slipping away. “Though I wouldn’t say no to the red trunks.”
Giving him a little wave, she made her way to the water and wasted no time before diving in. It was much warmer than earlier, and this time she didn’t worry about getting her hair wet. She dove under, inspecting the bottom for shells and unusual rocks before surfacing again, the sun hot against her skin as soon as she surfaced. Turning to the shore just long enough to pinpoint Clint, she kicked up onto her back and let herself float there, the sun bright even behind her closed lids.
