“You do that,” Natasha replied, expecting nothing of the sort but content to play along.
Following after Clint with the drinks, she set the glasses on the table and took her seat, giving him a look for his comment. After the afternoon they had spent together she had thought he had forgotten about her sickness, or could at least see that she was clearly feeling better, but apparently he still had lingering worries. Of course so did she, she was just doing a very good job of ignoring them. She was feeling much better today, after all.
“I’m sure it will be very good,” she assured him, dipping out some pasta for herself.
