Clint spared himself an immediate answer with a first bite of his pancake, which of course was still too hot and burned his tongue, but he kept eating anyway, just sucking in a short breath.
Ten minutes later and he was again in a situation where he had to be careful what to say. He knew he was only creating this problem himself and eventually he would find a balance with this whole worry thing. But especially in these two weeks now when even normal pregnancies often still were at stake, he rather had one eye too much on Natasha than getting careless.
If she got herself too worked up over him, it wouldn't be better for her, though. Oh well. He could always insist, she disinfected her hands if Liho didn't behave.
"Maybe she likes it more from you", he mumbled between two bites, showing no sign of the short inner struggle he had just had.
