Clint temporarily forgot about the rest of his pancake, watching the scene with big eyes. Natasha had a really impressive way of handling their little ward. He should try and learn a little from her here.
Liho seemed completely unsuspicious about the little trick at first and ate the little dollop of food from Natasha's finger in no time. Only then she began to chew it harder and with more strain than the smaller bites before. Shortly it looked like she would just drop it.
Following pure instinct, Clint dipped his finger in the big splash of chocolate on his plate and held it out to little one, and that fortunately seemed enough of a temptation. Now she hurried to swallow and then started to lick his fingertip eagerly.
"Such a good girl."
Clint smiled at her and then at Natasha, shrugging a little. It was stupid, really... But it made him happy when they made progress, it really did.
