That simple kiss on her hand told her all she
needed to know and she replied by squeezing his fingers and moving closer to
brush her shoulder against his. No
matter what they would always have each other, and as long as they could still
laugh together then they could make it through anything.
Watching Liho present her trophy, Natasha couldn’t
help but crouch down and scratch the little one on the top of her head. Part of her wanted to discourage the
behaviour that Clint pointed out, but she wanted Liho to be able to catch her
own prey and feed herself, and if they had to put up with some headless birds
on the floor every so often in the meantime, then so be it. It wasn’t like they both hadn’t seen much
worse.
“Such a fierce warrior,” Natasha cooed at the kitten
that was enjoying every second of the attention. Glancing up at Clint she smirked. “As long as she doesn’t leave them in our bed
then I think we’ll get along fine.”
