Natasha wasn’t sure she’d say her stomach had recovered, but the tea had helped and for now she didn’t feel like throwing up whatever remained of last night’s supper. It was still very carefully and slowly that she ate anything at all, though.
“It’s a shame we missed so many beach days,” she said, swallowing the bite of food and assessing how well her stomach was going to take it. So far, so good.
This morning felt much cooler than the last, but that didn’t mean it wouldn’t warm up later, nor that there wouldn’t be a few more warm days to come. One day of hiding in the house couldn’t hurt, and Clint definitely made it sound tempting. They could probably both use a little extra rest “I suppose one day of complete and utter laziness couldn’t hurt...”
She could only see the top of his head from the nose up peeking out over the covers and she couldn’t help but smile at him.
